    He's actually not even lame now, so he should make a full recovery, it's just going to take a long time... gah.

    We had a mare that did the EXACT same thing.
    She didn't race anymore, but she recovered and was sound and now they use her as a broodmare. (She was really successful before, great bloodlines, etc)

    So Im glad to hear that it sounds like he will make a full recovery too!

    Awww, I'm so sorry to hear about this JDI. *Hugs* Is there another horse at your barn or belonging to a friend that you can jump on and "train" in the meanwhile?

    That injury looks really nasty bu I'm glad he's not lame! Fingers and toes crossed for a speedy and complete recovery for silly Denny!
