Waiting for the coggins to come back? I am. I am 99% sure he will be negative but you never know when you buy a horse and have that first test done on your own.
Sonny's getting tested on Tuesday for it.. I guess I'm not particually worried...I mean what happens will happen...chances are Sonny doesn't have it so there'll be nothing to worry about.....but there is always that chance...I'll probably get more worried when it gets closer to actually getting the results
I think we get nervous about Coggins because there is no cure, but reality is that Coggins doesn't transmit well unless the horses are in relative close proximity (I know that's not always a comfort, though). I do understand, though, and things like Coggins are one of the big reasons that I am so glad we don't have to board our horses.
We have our 2 riding mares done every year. We cross state lines, and many horse camps require proof so have to have it. I've never really worried about it. Guess I should :?
