I was thinking about getting a feedbag for my giant Belgian, does anyone know where to get a feedbag for a horse this size? I know I could a feedbag for a pony or regular horse pretty easily, but he is 6'2 at the shoulder, so I doubt they would be anywhere big enough.
I make them out of burlap sacks. Cut from the top, down and across depending on how deep you want your sack to be and back up again. Along the seams would be the strap to tie to hold on his head. Does that make sense?
For your horse, I would get the BIG ones! I think those sacks are considered a bushel? Like the big potato burlap sacks. Seen ones that are used for marijuana and coffee, empty they may stand about counter height?
On second thought that probably wouldn't be wide enough for his head, I'll have to measure the width of his head tomorrow to see how big of a bag I will need to get.
