    Does she look off?? **Video**

I want more trained eyes to see if you can tell if Classy is off on her left hind. I'm treating her for Scratches/Mud Fever and it has caused slight swelling in her left hind leg. I haven't rode her since the swelling started but I did work her for like 3 mins in the round pen just enough to get some video of her and to stretch her legs a bit. Thanks for the help!!

Thank you! She is my pretty girl :) I didnt think she looked off but then again my assessment could very possibly be wrong LOL...I will give her a few more days off to try to get more of this mud fever cleared up and see how the swelling does before attempting to work her again!

I think she looks fine. A little light exercise like what you were doing will stimulate the circulation and may help with the swelling?

Thanks for your opinion :) I think I will work her for a few mins each day like you said to get the circulation going and hopefully help her healing process!

I didnt see any lameness...seemed to be applying pressure evenly and no signs of favoring (such as head bobbing/dipping) VERY pretty mare!

Very difficult to see properly as the vids are short and jerky

From what I could see she may be a little off in her transition - short in her stride on her left hind to start. Also I think she may be dropping her left hip in the trot.

I would like to see a longer clip, at the moment it's really hard to tell. There could be nothing there - just when I start to get to look at her movement the clip stops - I think I can see an 'off' movement but its really not that big or defined so is hard to see.

she doesn't really like the round pen so much! It is smaller than what I would like as well but it was the only place I could work her at the time the arena was full with lesson kids! I tried to keep the clips short because youtube takes forever to upload them but I can try to get some longer ones! Thanks

I agree with NS, it does look like the left hip is dropping, but 13 seconds is not enough to really tell.

    Pretty girl.
