    Don't know what it is!

A few days ago, while I was brushing my mare, I noticed that her right teat was swollen, or a lot larger than the other. Yesterday, it was huge, like the size of a pregnant mares.
But the thing is, only one is swollen. There is no way she could be pregnant, so that can't be it (even though she is pretty fat) Haha.
I'm just worried about her, she tries to kick up at me when I touch back there, so couldn't really see anything other than it was swollen.

I am going again today, and expecting it to be more swollen once again, but does anyone have an idea what it might be, and does it go away?

Sounds like maybe an infection in the gland? If she was nursing I would say mastitas. If it is bigger today , then I would get a vet out to check it, and the mare put on antibiotics.
    Is it hot to touch?

    Green Broke
That's what I would say, or a bug bite that's infected.

    ^^ Thanks guys.

We had the vet out today, it was actually pigeon fever. We have had it going around in our area, pretty much all the horses have it. I totally forgot about it though, and didn't that about that.
It's draining itself and the vet said it should be gone in a couple weeks.
    So that's good! :)
