First off, I AM calling the vet tomorrow during business hours, but I wanted to see if anyone else has ideas of what could be happening.
My gelding has been acting a bit "blah" the past couple weeks. Nothing major, no temperature, his pulse and resp have been fine and his gut sounds normal. I thought it may be the heat. He had a farrier appointment last week and the farrier noticed his lumbar was a bit sore and he was a bit stiff behind. Now this morning he has been dribbling urine. I watched him stretch out, drop and urinate normally, too.
I am thinking it is pain related or possibly sand related (sand in the gut causing pain or sand in the bladder?). Have any of you guys experienced this before?
