Dried Herbs for Arthritis Used with NSAID

Hey all!
I was browsing Monterey Bay Spice Company online today because they have free shipping this week, and I figured I'd stock up on raspberry leaves for spring for my horse.
She had West Nile a few years back, and there's some research that shows that WN acts a bit like an autoimmune disease. Arthritis has been spreading and increasing fairly rapidly in her joints since then.
Bute helped, but didn't keep her sound. MSM is the best for keeping inflammation down. She's on Previcox now but I think her dosage needs to be upped. So, I'd like some herbs used to reduce arthritis pain, that can be used alongside an NSAID (Previcox). I do not believe Yucca and/or Devils Claw can go with an NSAID, though I'm not sure.

Hey there,
I am glad I saw this have you used herbs before? If so, were you successful?
I want to try herbs on my old mule because he has arthritis so I was wondering if they will help...

I have used devils claw on my mule before with no luck so I would look more into a diffrent herb, I thought devils claw also helps ulsers... I thought I read that somewhere.

I haven't had any luck personally with Yucca or Devils Claw products with my horse before. My mare does best on MSM. Make sure to get the 10000mg dose or higher. It's super cheap but extremely effective. All the horses I've used it with have benefitted. It takes about a week to kick in.
