Edema from mosquito bites?

Noticed this morning that my mare had swelling on the underside of her belly just in front of her tets, it's about 4-5 inches long and a few inches wide. I can squish it in a few inches, it feels like fluid. There are baby mosquito bites all over on it.
She gets hives and has had small edema's in the past from bites but never one this big. Usually they are round tho, this one is tubular so it has me a bit concerned.
I think this is what it is, but does this sound like anything else? I am planning to breed her in a few months and I am so worried about anything that can compromise her health.
