Sorry it has been so long, I am hitting all my final projects and I am now also working 33 hours a week.
Ejie is doing fantastic! (i can post pics later)
My vet was out a couple days ago for his 3rd visit and said her chest cavatie had closed and she was out of the woods (still have quit the walk to get home though)
He told me he really didnt think she was going to make it.
He told me 50/50 that day so we wouldnt give up on her.
He was conpletely surprised by how well she is doing, he was also surprised at how fast it closed up (beginning of this week it scabed over)
He removed the stitches from the shoulder wound and will be back out in another week to hopefully remove the stitches from the entry wound.
He told me some stories similar to Ejie and only 1 out of those 5 made it.
I'm really proud of Ejie for being strong and pulling through, there wasnt a day she didnt eat or stand up, she even held her title as boss the whole time.
She is a wonderful horse.
She is getting a little crazy on lock down though lol, she should be able to be let on minimal turn out in a small area nexr week, now I just take her out and walk her on a long rope like a dog, so she can wonder and I just follow.
My vet said after its healed we can see what she has lost, since she tore through everything. He did sew the tendons and muscles back but we cant text now.
However she can spin very well lol, she also jumped over a puddle yesterday -_-
We will see, the point is she made it through and she made it through like a champ :)
