Thumbs up Egisis *Update*

Sorry it has been so long, I am hitting all my final projects and I am now also working 33 hours a week.

Ejie is doing fantastic! (i can post pics later)

My vet was out a couple days ago for his 3rd visit and said her chest cavatie had closed and she was out of the woods (still have quit the walk to get home though)

He told me he really didnt think she was going to make it.
He told me 50/50 that day so we wouldnt give up on her.
He was conpletely surprised by how well she is doing, he was also surprised at how fast it closed up (beginning of this week it scabed over)

He removed the stitches from the shoulder wound and will be back out in another week to hopefully remove the stitches from the entry wound.

He told me some stories similar to Ejie and only 1 out of those 5 made it.

I'm really proud of Ejie for being strong and pulling through, there wasnt a day she didnt eat or stand up, she even held her title as boss the whole time.

She is a wonderful horse.

She is getting a little crazy on lock down though lol, she should be able to be let on minimal turn out in a small area nexr week, now I just take her out and walk her on a long rope like a dog, so she can wonder and I just follow.

My vet said after its healed we can see what she has lost, since she tore through everything. He did sew the tendons and muscles back but we can't text now.
However she can spin very well lol, she also jumped over a puddle yesterday -_-

We will see, the point is she made it through and she made it through like a champ :)

That is good news. She's such a pretty little thing. Are the t-posts capped now?

All t-post are caps now for sure,
We will being getting rid of them all through the summer replacing with wood post and putting wood panels above the top of the wire fence part to make it taller.

We have already redone the broken part with the new fence I can post a pic of it late :)

I was wondering if you sold Egisis, she is now free to a good home on Craiglist, and wondered what her story was, she looks like such a great horse...

I guess she pushed the lady down. She was going to put her to sleep, but my trainer is helping to rehome her. Everyone I have talked to says this lady is crazy and puts horses too sleep she can't sell. Ejie is great I did beach races with her IN A HALTER. She has never bucked, or kicked etc. But everyone that knows the lady says she's nuts and not to sell her horses.
