Equi-Spot--Does it Work?

Does anyone use the spot on tick treatment for horses? Does it work? I have a horse that is having terrible reactions to tick bites and I need to do something for her. Is this the same stuff as Frontline for dogs? Could I use that? How is the price on this stuff? And does it last 2 weeks like they say? Any help appreciated, I feel so bad for her, she has sores all over!

I use it. I'm in CT which is loaded with ticks. My horse is dark bay, so they can hide really well on him. I use Equi-spot, and so far I have not found a tick when I use it on 2 week intervals. That's not to say they're not there, but I think it does work. It's only about $15 for 3 tubes, so I think it's worth the $$. It's certainly cheaper than $500 worth of Doxycycline if your horse gets a tick related illness.
