Equine worms and manure

This might be a silly question, but im wondering how long worms can survive in manure. My horses are up to date on everything but just got me thinking about it...We have been harrowing the pasture and im wondering because horses sometimes eat there manure... if its dry, can they still pick up the worms/eggs? Or do they die off after a certain amount of time? Sorry if its a silly question just trying for good pasture management!

Thanks!
