Every heard of this?

Has anyone ever heard of giving a gelding the hormone progesterone? I moved to a new stable today and the owner was telling me they have given a few of their horses the hormone to get them to stop weaving, decrease seperation anxiety, and it improves their concentration.

I know about giving this to mares, and I guess it makes sense to give it to geldings....just wondering if it actually worked for anyone.

Hmm, I've never heard of this before?... it'll be interesting to see what others say.

Yes, i've heard from a few people that it's good for geldings that are really sour or have attitude issues. Supposedly it works but I haven't personally tried it.
