exercise plan...

Ok so basically I'm buying this Appy mare.. and she's like fatt... and I was wondering if I should just start working her gradually or just start lunging her like 30 mins a day or something lol (idk if this seems like a dumb question but I don't want to risk her health).. I'll post links of her up so you can see her....

IDK if these are the best pics but there's a couple... The lady has had her for 6 years and hasn't really done much aside from some trail rides... so yea if anyone can tell me I'd appreciate it!!! =]

[ADDED : sorry if the pics are a lil big I couldn't re size them on this laptop]

[ANOTHER ADD : The lady also lets her go in and out and graze when she wants and free feeds her.. idk if that contributes to he belly LOL ]

I definitely would gradually increase her activity- does she do good on a lunge line? ;) If so, then yes, I'd start by lunging her.
