Eye Injury

Does anyone have any experience with eye injuries? Justice has somehow injured his right eye.The white part of his eye is a milky tan color and it is discharging. I first noticed something wrong last night when he was keeping it closed and refused to open it for me, I flushed it out the best I could and then tonight he had it open enough for me to see it looked bad. I flushed it again and will be calling the vet in the morning to get it checked out.
I have no idea what he has done to it he was fine Friday, I don't know if he cut it somehow on the fence or has something in it, he won't hold it open wide enough for me to get a real good look.
I am hoping with some eye ointment or drops maybe it will clear up but I won't know till the vet comes.

I would get a vet out as soon as possible - eye injuries are absolutely nothing to mess around with.
If you are worried about a foreign object being in the eye, cover it with an old bra cup, then you can cover that with a fly mask.
I highly highly suggest getting a vet out ASAP even if it's an emerg call...
