Eye Problem.

My daughters P.O.A. Has a big purple looking colour on the side of his eye where they should be white, on the outside part. It can't be seen unless he looks side ways. The inside corners are a little yellow. Anyone had this problem. The vet is coming out today, but it is going to be a long day till he gets here. Thanks.

Sounds ouchy. Glad the vet is coming. Is the horse light sensitive?

He seams to be o.k but I decided that im going to go out and put him in a stall just in case I missed something. He hasnt been his normal quirky self.Im scared I think.

Good idea putting him in, or at least put a fly mask on him to give him some sun screen.

Well, The Vet just left and he thought that Skys eye was O.K. He saw what I was talking about and he's never seen anything like it before, but he didnt look into his eyes with anything, and that bothers me a bit, would it bother you. His eye does not get teary. I just need to calm down, right?

Glad the vet thinks everything is OK.

I say keep an eye on it for a few days and if it does not appear to bother him or look worse then the vet is right.

If things change (get cloudy, he seems bothered, etc) call the vet back right away.
