I would think no (given the bone wasn't damaged). My horse cut her nose REALLY bad in trailer, it all healed up nicely (but took lots of time).

Thanks do you think a vet is needed? At first I didn't think it too bad.

Well... To be honest I'm not sure what vet can do in this situation anyway.

My horse got herself between the legs (huge hematoma) and it took her a MONTH before it went down (with me doing massages and compresses for the whole month), and another month to disappear (before I even started riding her). Where exactly was it kicked and does it eat/drink normally? Is swelling getting smaller?

Yes he is eating and drinking normally but the lump on the bridge of his nose hasn't gone down at all. Spoke to the vet today she said unless there is infection in the bone nothing can be done

Its probably scar tissue which takes a whole to heal and go down. My dad was hit in the face accidently, and he had a huge swollen purple lip which took around 6 months to heal but it did go.

Hopefully it is just damaged tissue and it'll heal over time.
