I used it a few weeks ago (24 hour free trial). You start by putting in all of your horse's information like their age, body score, activity level, breed, etc. Then you pick the feed/hay/supplements you give them from the lists (they have pretty much everything, and if you don't see something you feed you can email them and they'll add it) and type in the amounts. Then you pick the type of pasture they're on.

After it runs the analysis you'll get back a chart that shows you whether the diet is balanced, a nutrient table, a nutrient graph and feeding management tips.

You can find out if certain parts of their intake is too high or too low. I found out that my QH gelding isn't getting enough Selenium.

I think it's pretty inexpensive to purchase a membership for a year... I'm going to purchase a membership to use as my filly grows to keep track of the feed changes and to make sure she's getting the required nutrients. It's a GREAT tool for horseowners :)

They had a free trial from Dec. 27 - Jan. 2 (I think). I heard about the "New Years Offer" on another horse board, so I checked it out.

I'm not positive, but I think so. Since you have a login and password you should be able to access it anywhere you can pull up the website. Kind of like facebook, lol.
