    First order for Hay!

So excited to be ordering Hay. I know you think i'm crazy.

But my partner and I have bought our first property. Which means that very soon I will have my horses with me instead of boarding them.

Very exciting to be able to paddock my boys how I want and also to be doing things like ordering Hay :)

Good luck with your new place! I can't imagine owning horses and not have them at home.

Its only 10 acres with about 8 of grazing land. If people have advice on paddocking and how to move them through paddocks and ideal paddock sizes please feel free to share!

The lay of the land will decide pasture sizes and shapes (along with # of horses).

I have three horses and have only 5 acers 2 1/2 is pasture and then I have dry lots don't recall sizes of them. When muddy and too wet I keep them off the pasture other wise they get 2 to 3 hours a day. Yeah enjoy the novelty of it wont last right now I wish my horses were boarded. I wouldnt have too go do chore in 45 to 50 below zero wind chills and a air temp of 27 below zero in AM. For the most part I do enjoy having my horses at home.
