Fly mask opinions and reviews...

It is almost that time of year and I want to hear what you all have to say about the various flly masks that are out on the market. I live in Ontario and have been told that flies are a problem once the warm weather hits. Right now I am leaning toward the bug eye masks. I appreciate all your advise. Thanks.

Crusader Standard Fly Mask w/Ears - Horse.com

I have one just like that except it covers the nose and its pink and I love it. I live in WI so the flies get really bad during the summer. It fit my horse really good and even when she would roll in the dirt and rub her face, it stayed on. It was easy to clean also.

I use (and LOVE) the Crusader fly masks by Cashel (I love the design because it has a hole for the forelock!) They are sturdy and my guys are rough on them. I get the one with ear coverage. I also like the Supermask II by Farnam but the one with ears covers the forelock.

I use Supermask no ears on Jemma (she HATES ears and long nose), and Cashel long nose no ears on Kiara (she burns her nose easily). But frankly I went as well with those cheap $5 models on Jemma as well (unfortunately those don't come in long nose so can't use on Kiara).
