Fly Spray Allergy

I was wondering how common allergies to fly sprays are. In my experience about one in three horses I have owned have had some sort of reaction to fly sprays, ranging from mildly watery eyes to one of my mares who would get a rash, loose her hair, nose run and eyes swell shut. The majority of these horses have been Minis, so I was wondering if it was more common in some breeds than others?

I was wondering the same thing... My horse got hives when I put Clam Coat on her, but my friends fly spray didn't bother her. She has been the only horse I have seen have a reaction to fly spray.

But most of them are affected with the various skinny diseases and also the problem of bushy tail...
