Exclamation Foal's Poo

For the past 2 days, my colts poop breaks apart into little balls. It's not in big clumps like it used to be??? Is this a sign of colic?

Hi, without further info, re his age, diet, etc, I'm inclined to think it's just normal. Horse poo is meant to be in balls and runny cow pats are more likely a problem unless he's really young - may signify hind gut acidosis, which is one potential cause of colic. What's his diet? Has it changed recently?
