Garlic??

Does anyone use garlic to keep the flies away>> Some people we know use fresh garlic, some use garlic powder, some use the supplement????
Any suggestions??

I'm using a product called Bug Check this year. Flies are just starting to be a factor now, so only time will tell how effective it is. I'm trying a "feed through" this year since my horse's belly was tortured by no-see-ums last year.

I was feeding garlic to both my boys for a full year - and it did DIDDLY SQUAT! Waste of time, waste of money.

Anyone else just not sure I want to waste the money.....BUT my boys HATE getting sprayed. I think I will crosstie them to do it tomorrow. BTW I LOVE the pink SWAT wowo I put it around their eyes and in their ears on their cuts it works so nice plus its pink and you can see where you put it. I will say I also use the colored sunscreen on my kids!!
