Global issue project??

Hi, I was searching the Internet for a global issue for my english project. Well I need something I'm passionate about, we are doing several projects on the same issue. I was thinking horse related, because that is what I am most passionate about, but it could be any animal related really. Can I have some help brain storming a global issue?? I was thinking maybe horse slaughter, but I did a French speech on that topic 3 years ago and everyone really just seemed very grossed out. Maybe horse soring for the Tennessee walking horses? But I'm not sure how popular that really is, I need an argument such as they aren't doing enough to stop it, ect. So any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!

youve already got a biased position before you have even started. Making a conclusion with zero research then trying to justify that conclusion. Wrong wrong wrong. Not the way to present a paper. Look at the issue objectively, leave out the passion. Gather some evidence then draw a conclusion.
