Good companion for my horse with a bowed tendon.

I have a mare that just bowed her tendon and we have her locked up but I am still actively competing and showing my other horse and whenever I rake him away she goes crazy. I have tried for years to get her over this but it just isn't working. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a good companion for her while I trailer my other horse around to shows.

I have a horse like your mare.

Do you have the room to house a 3rd horse at your place? Do you have any friends with a horse that you can take on loan until your mare is better?

We do not have room for another horse I was thinking maybe a goat but I don't know if that would work or not.

Some horses like goats, some do not care that they are there.

What about a mini pony would keep your mare company yet not cost as much in feed bills etc and providing your mare gets on they can be stabled together
