Good Hoof supplement

I just bought a haflinger who has pretty soft hooves. They flake very easily. We currently don't have him walking around much outside unless it's from the barn to the deeply sanded arena but before that, he was outside on the hard frozen packed ground for a majority of the day. He can't be re-shoed until his hooves grow out but was wondering what kind of supplement you use to help hoof growth and strengthen them. Thanks so much.

With any hoof supplement you are not going to see results until the hoof completely grows out, so over a year in most cases. Pretty much anything with biotin in it will work, everyone has their favorite supplement.

I like just plain ole Biotin Crumbles, cheap and has really worked wonders in the past and present for me.
