    good news on Jubilee's hooves!

I had the farrier out the other day for a trim and he commented on how much better Jubilee's hooves are since I got her. I've had her now for about a year and a half, and he said that she's grown out whole new hooves since then (apparently it takes a year for them to grow out completely). He told me he had to reshape them because they were very thin and whoever did her feet before didn't know what he/she was doing. Anyway, he said she's gone up a whole shoe-size, meaning that her hooves have expanded and gotten a little bigger, making them less thin-walled. I don't think her hooves will ever be spectacular (she's a TB) but the farrier said he can't believe how much they have improved. I am really happy about that. I'll see if I can get some pics posted soon!

Awesome! Isn't it amazing what a natural hoof will do! Good for both of you.

Thanks! I guess they just needed a little TLC and growing time!
