Got our donkey gelded!

Well, the vet came out yesterday. We had to get our two year old donkey, Dash, gelded... he's been trying to breed with the cows for a while now, and since he's wild, we couldn't really catch him. The vet said that if we could get him in a pen, he'd help us to 'rodeo' him down.

Thankfully it didn't come to a fight. I managed to get a halter on him and get him tied after about half an hour. He fought the halter, but didn't really freak out... and was gelded. Lol.

I also had the vet check out Jaxxon where he's been losing his hair and all. The vet said that it's a skin fungus, and to buy an iodine-based medicated shampoo and MTG and bathe him with it and put some MTG on him and that should clear it up, so as soon as it warms up, I'm planning on doing that (probably here in about a week or so).

Anyway, both the donkey and Jaxxon are currently in the Lot behind the house, so I can keep an eye on the donkey and Jax is just there to keep the donkey company... lol.

Donkey seems to be doing pretty good, so far.
