I'm so sorry hun! I went through the same thing a year ago with the mare pictured in my icon. She had an impaction. We did surgery, she had a great recovery but then coliced 2 more times in a month. The last one was horrible and I didnt want to her suffer. Its the hardest thing to make that decision, but all of us that have made it know its usually the best thing. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry about your boy :( Its so hard to do the right thing but I hope you find comfort in that you made the correct call when he needed you the most.

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music
