I'm not seeing much of a difference...

The fact that the one feed is like a powder, concerns me...I would find something pelleted, to be honest...those powdery feeds are normally made for cattle, not horses.

I agree that is does sound strange, but it has been recommended by the vet and by another barn that uses it... So Im going to take the chance with it, and if things don't improve, switch to a pelleted feed as you suggested.
