Hear something when she breathes

So we just got a new horse about a week ago.She is a 12 year old quarter horse for my girls. She is small and listens so well.So yesterday my daughters were riding her and when she was finished I was petting the horses face and gave her a hug and she like sniffed my ear and something caught my attention .I listened again and when she breathed out I can her a small whizzing at the end.I called the vet the soonest she can come will be Tuesday May 28 and she asked if she is sneezing or coughing and she is not.She said it would be fine to continue riding her(she didn't;'t seem to concerned)Any thoughts on what this could be?She is also outside not in and the hay is nice no mold or dusty..

Sounds like heaves...

It may be a good idea to soak her hay and see if that helps. While things may not seem dusty, it can be.
