i had no idea that the guy who was letting me board him at his barn was buying horrible hay. he also had my horse along with 9 others on a 1 acre lot feeding everyone the same.

yes! a much better place!! i would have never thought to look at the hay he was buying because he was feeding it to his horses also!! it was so horrible. i felt like an awful equine owner. but yes he is at a much better place now.

Sounds like ulcers. Talk to the vet about trying him on ranitidine 3x daily.
