Horse ate braid bands, help!

My daughter left braid bands in my mom's horse's feed bin for some reason, and he ate some, we don't know how many. What does she do?

What should she do? Follow my lead: laugh hysterically. And hope she doesn't die. :)
They're small enough that the horse should be fine.

I told her to text the vet's wife (she farm sits for them and they are friends, live right across the street). She did, and the vet told the wife that all would be fine, so off they went on their search and rescue mission this morning. My mom was NOT laughing! Lol
