horse disenguages his hind end

Ok well since I've bought streak and riding him more he drops his right hip. He acts like its stiff but then just completly drops it. He didnt do it up until 2 weeks ago. He had heat in his fetlock and hoof. Any suggestions?

Is it swollen? Is the heat centralized to the joint area of the fetlock or does it extend all the way down? I would call out your vet and farrier, because heat in the hooves isn't anything to be messed with on a horse.
