    Granted this was a starting out scenario. So you are buying everything at once, all the tack, stall essentials, etc. Plus a 1,000 a month lease.

    This is ridiculous. Feral horses don't typically live long, happy, idyllic lives in the best of health. Nor are they ridden by humans. I'm all for "natural" styles of housekeeping but don't take it to the point of ridiculousness.
