Horse with previous health issue..

Hi, I have been looking at a 13, almost 14 yr old horse i am considering buying, however he had Rhinovirus 2 years ago...They did get him treated with antibiotics. And since then had competed in gymkhanas, Though he does stumble alot at the walk and drops his, ya know, often and dribbles urine, even when riding though he did not fully go until he was turned back out in the pasture..Should this be a concern? Any possibility the above is caused be the virus and could it be passed to my other horse?
BTW I will be talking to a vet, just thought i'd get some opinions here too.

Rhino? You mean, like the neurological kind? And antibiotics are not proper treatments for a virus, except for secondary infection...

Stumbling and incontinence are major red flags. This is not a horse I would feel safe riding, let along pay money for.
