    No actually I don't think so. It was made by a party that I think may have actually used the video for business negotiations or something. I'm not someone who hates people who slaughter horses or anything, but I just wish people would only kill horses when they don't have anything else to eat, instead of just as a delicacy.

    Horse meat is not a delicacy. That's another common misconception.

    The people who eat horse meat on a regular basis are just normal, middle class folks.

    Like any other livestock, there are cheaper as well as more expensive cuts on a horse carcass.

    You don't consider cattle a delicacy, do you? There are meat cuts that many people can't afford to buy, but that doesn't mean cow meat is a delicacy that only the rich can eat.

    Many countries actually raise horses as meat animals.

    There was a video a few years back that people were waxing poetic about. It showed some horses that were stranded during a flood, and they were finally rounded up and rescued.

    What the people oohing and ahhing over the video didn't know, was that those were meat horses. The animals needed to be rescued in order that the farmer didn't lose his investment and future earnings when the animals sold for food, just the same as any beef cattle breeder.

    I don't have a problem with using horses as a meat source. After all, they're herbivores and a natural prey species. Just like cattle, goats, sheep, rabbits, etc.

    We here in the U.S. Eat pigs, and they're much smarter than horses. They're also omnivores, not herbivores.

    That's true.. as long as they do it humanely, there really isn't anything wrong with eating horses. Just cause I don't think they'd taste very good, doesn't mean others don't like then :)

    You obviously have not had a burger that was cooked on my grill. LOL

    I like red meat on occasion but not very often, so it better be exceptional.
