When you step outside and start to sweat...lol seriously
I usually ride in the morning or at night a few hours before the sun goes down so the horses are comfortable

Our humidity is what kills...not really the temp.

If my horses are sweaty standing in front of their fans (or just in their stall for that matter), no riding for me!

If it's too hot for me, then I think it's too hot for my horses...

I agree. ;) If the horse is really sweaty or even being a bit lazier from the heat (& I agree- it is mostly the humidity), then no riding.
If it's too hot I'll usually just groom or something. Or rinse her off.

I always guage how Vega is if i'm going to ride. Though sometimes in the heat I just feel like staying indoors.

If it's really hot, I hose her off or give her a bath and then let her graze.

If it's bearable, I do very light riding with lots of walking and hose her off afterwards. And I don't ride during the middle of the day either

Yep, that's pretty much how I think of it. Of course, I'm not very hardcore either when it comes to heat, that's why I got my butt out of Texas as soon as I graduated :P
