    How is he feeling today? I hope he heals quickly, that's definitely not something I would want to come home to find.

    If the hog is from an owner perhaps have him/her split the costs!
    After all it is not your fault your horse got such a wound.

    I will keep 2 thumbs up for him and hopefully he will recover beautifully and fast!

    That was nasty looking. Glad it was no worse considering the source of the wound. Sounds like fun keeping it clean too. Hope it heals up nicely and soon.

    Um.... The hog was in its own pen. The horse stuck his head into the hogs pen. Of course it is the horses fault it got this wound.


    OP, sorry your boy is hurt. It looks like the vet did a nice job repairing what was an ugly wound. Happy healing vibes.

    I would probably hot wire the top of the hog fencing. My friend has a wild boar the was caught as a baby, she's sweeter then most pigs I've ever met.
