How long to leave stable bandages on

So Hunter tore a tendon in his right front and is on week 3 of stall rest (can be hand walked once or twice a day for 5-10 mins). For the first week we were poulticing and cold hosing daily but for the last week and a half we have been wrapping both fronts with no poultice. Vet is coming out in another week or so. My question is how long do you leave stable wraps on for. I can only get to barn once a day after work so I get there unwrap and handwalk him and then cold hose (most days) and the BO rewraps him after they have their dinner. Has anyone left stable wraps on for longer than this?
