Good point I completely agree with!

To the OP - mine are out 24/7 with nice shed. When it's rain/ice/snow I keep them in stalls, but when it's just cold (under 25 but no snow/rain) they are still out and I put blankets on. I think it's much more healthy for the horse to be out for the most of the time.

My horse (and all the horses at the barn) go out from 8am to 3pm everyday, even in like, minus 40 weather. Its good for them, and to be truthful...the horses tha the barn would try to break through the stall doors if we kept them in all day, lol. They all have blankets

Mine are out 24/7 with access to shelter(run in). I do periodically stall the pony overnight to keep Cheno(old blind appy) company(next stall/run) when he's restless.

Lilly is out 24/7 with access to a shelter. She also has a rug on when needed, due mostly to her having a wimpy winter coat. :3 I am a believer in keeping horses as stalled as little as possible. They were built to move...so move they must.

My horse is out all day (about 9am to 4pm) I have a trace cut on him and he is all blanketed up (stable, shell and hood) he goes out with 2 other geldings he loves being outside in the winter. Also it gets pretty cold out here right now its not to bad -15 celcius but it can get to almost -35 sometimes **** Winterpeg Manisnowba Canada :P

Mine are out 24/7 with shelter, hay and heavy blankets. Unless the weather is nasty enough to bring them in (like yesterday and today)
