How old do thoroughbreds get?

Hi, I have a thouroubred horse mixed with kathiawari (an Indian breed). When he was younger he had something like a stroke. But he recovered well. He is still a extra scared and has a bit lame side. But he is not in pain or
Anything. He was never raced, I think he only did some dressage or jumping, before the acsedent. Now I just go on easy rides with him and do some work inside. Now he is 19 years old, how old do you think he would get?

It really depends on how he's taken care of for the rest of his life & what his health is like. He could live 'till he's 40, there really isn't a way to tell for sure.

Average is between 25-30 years but like previously said a well cared for horse can get as old as 40
