No...goats (and cows) are great for eating the leftovers and weeds (all the stuff the horses won't eat).

You dont have to feed the goats grain but they do like it As long as they have plenty of shrubs and weeds to eat they are usually good to go but they can eat horse feed and such as long as the bag dosent say dont feed to goats a handful everynow and then is fine
