    I need input

    Hey horseforum family!
I have been meaning to make an account here for a while now, and I finally was pursuaded to make one so I can hopefully get some input on whats wrong with a horse I am madly in love with. I volunteer at a rescue and we have a pony who is completely blind. Attatched is a high detail picture of one of her eyes my friend took, was hoping for some insight as to what you think it may be and if its permanant.

Hopefully a vet has looked at it and given an opinion? Looks painfull.

Sorry but my guess would be cancer but it could be a conjunctivitis.
Either way a vet should look at her.

I would assume there is a vet at the rescue center who could give you more input then people on the internet... It definitely looks painful, poor guy :(

Do you have any minis at the rescue? I would suggest finding one that gets along well with the pony and attaching a bell to the mini. Then the pony will have a seeing eye mini, and a sound to guide him from place to place :)

Get the vet involved. It looks like cancer to me.
