    My gelding is doing fine now. For about a couple of weeks, I noticed when ice would form on the ground is when he would walk very softly. I never noticed him "walking on eggshells" at any other time. I think he is very tenderfooted. I kept his shoes off for a few months. He now has shoes on him and he seems to be doing fine. He isn't a big horse. I'm not sure if my farrier trimmed him a little short or not but, as of now, he's fine.
