Ideas for cures for rain scald?

One of my horses has very minor rain scald, any ideas for removing it quickly?
I have previously used a weak bleach solution to clear up mud fever which I believe is caused by the same bacteria.
Would a bleach solution be ok for fixing rain scald?

Betadine wash has worked well for me. If you already have scabs, use a little vaseline or something similar to loosen them up and removed. Let the sun and air get at it and keep the area dry.

5cc of the injectable Vitamin A but you just squirt it in their mouth once a week. Rain rot and the like is caused by a lack of vitamin A.
