In short, she developed an internal infection that actually the vet thinks she's had from lack of colostrum, but that finally went clinical. She's been fighting for her life ever since, and while it's still a struggle, she's getting better every day. She now has her own blog (ever after hallelujah - a rescue story) and we're raising funds to help with her ongoing vet bills. She's the new poster child for the horse rescue and will help educate people on the plight of nursemare foals and all unwanted horses in the world today.
