Exclamation I'm really worried about my pony's feet!

My pony has a black soul around his frog, and there is a smell but I think its just from the muck...might he have thrush??

Thrush sounds pretty likely.

Does that hoof smell worse than the other hooves?

Is he lame? Can you pick the gunky stuff out? Any heat or swelling?

A photo would help - can you get one?
If not, can you call your farrier out?
