Injured Pony?

I have a minature pony he weighs around 400 pound around 3 yrs old i went to put him up for the night and i noticed he was laying down i did not think much about it he got up and i put him in the barn and the next day i went to turn him out and he was laying down still i got him up but he is having trouble with his lft hind quarter leg it doesnt seem to be his hip but more in his ankle at his hoof but it is not swelled or nothing appears to be broken but he is havving alot of trouble when he raises it up he is fine but when he sits it back down it is like he cant sit it down flat with out it crilling over any help would be appreciated

siblity, esp as you mention weight, as if that may be an issue(telling weight without knowing size of horse means little sorry)especially in a hind leg, the horse would be unlikely to lie do heaps wn because of it, so i would suspect laminitis as posz a strongcaall a good equine vet pronto! sounds quite acutensevere & esl **pardon stupid sentences, silly computer! hope u can make sense!

if he is a minature then 400lb (180kg) seems very very heavy, almost as much as my 12.2hh show pony (who is somewhere between 200kg and 250kg).
