Interesting study on oral glucosamine

I found this study summary on oral glucosamine and I thought it was rather interesting. I believe the actual published study is referenced at the bottom of the page. Has anyone read this? Thoughts?

I think this is a really fascinating study, and keeping in mind that there are other contributing factors to the outcome of the horse's performance , it would still be interesting to know if the supplement is on the market or if it was just for that particular study.
Thanks for the post :)
