Juniper and Horses?

Hi there! My family and I are looking at a second home in the White Mountains of AZ where we could bring our animals up out of the low hot desert during the summer. We've found several, but there tends to be a lot of juniper around the area. Does anyone know if juniper is safe for horses? Or will it make them sick? If you have any info, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Not sure, I but have a very good book at home that lists all the toxic plants. I'll take a look tonight and repost.
